We are so excited for this year's Showcase and are looking forward to seeing all the talent our members possess shine on stage and behind the scenes!

What Does Leadership for the Showcase Look Like?

Leadership for the Stagefright Showcase will be an opportunity for anyone that wants to participate.  We have many tech opportunities to chose from and explore. Read about them down below!  Leadership positions are a great opportunity to gain some experience for future production team roles!

Roles

Dance Captain

A Dance Captain is a member of the company responsible for overseeing and maintaining the artistic standards of all choreography and musical staging within a production. They work closely with the Choreographer, Director, and Stage Manager to communicate and preserve the artistic vision of the Creative Team.

Previous dance experience is preferred.

Voice Captain

A Voice Captain is a member of the company responsible for overseeing and maintaining the artistic standards of all vocal aspects within a production. They work closely with the Music Director, Director, and Stage Manager to communicate and preserve the artistic vision of the Creative Team.

Previous vocal experience is preferred.

Open to: ALL!

Prop Master

Prop masters run the property department which makes, stores and transports the props as well as preps the props for each day's shoot. They work with production designers, set decorators and art directors to work out what props are needed.

Open to: ALL!

Lighting Designer

The Lighting Designer is responsible for the design, installation, and operation of the lighting and special electrical effects used in the production.

Prior lighting experience preferred.

Open to: ALL!

Sound Deisgner

A Sound Designer is responsible for creating all sound and audio for a production. Depending on the requirements of the show, this can include sound effects, music, building atmosphere and how the performers are heard.

Prior sound experience is preferred.

Open to: ALL!
